about me

yesterday was my birthday.

i had forgotten all about it. in fact, when i looked at my calendar for the month of may, it has things like,

"Alex to go to the Doc's"

"School's out for Christian"

"End of term party for Christian"

"Proctor Exam"

"Baby Ray's Red Egg"

"HK - Zuma, reservations"

"Mom comes back to help out"

"Ah Xiang (our carpenter) at 3pm"

"Board of Examiners meeting"

you get less excited about your birthday as the year goes on. sometimes, i don't even remember how old i am.

but it was a nice, quiet, little birthday. my mom spent the day with us.

eric was very sweet - it's incredible to see that the guy i've known has "grown" to become quite a father-figure(!)

the kids were, as usual, quite smitten with me :)
