that very book ignited an onslaught of obsession
over parenting theories. (it still kills me that i bought these books at retail. when we were engaged, we spent US$1 per book in the wedding section at St. Vinny's. We bought so many books that the cashier asked if we just got engaged and offered her congratulations.)
truth is no one knows what a baby needs at a particular time. research can shed light but not offer the ultimate truth. hypotheses, yes. truth, no. but it still makes my heart sing with thanksgiving when i took the quiz in here and found out that Christian is a crossbreed: he's both an Angel and a Textbook baby.
adding testament to the validity of the quiz... he enjoys his bath tremendously
that is, when he's not hungry.
