Did you manage to sneak out and look at the exhibitions at the cityhall/museum instead of suffering through the schmoozing?
The only museum we made it to was the Vasa Musuem where we had a tour and dinner with other conference participants. It was awesome - the museum holds the Vasa, which was a 17th century warship that sunk before even leaving the port of Stockholm. It was recovered about 50 years ago and is in great condition.
The last day or two was filled mostly with enjoying the nice weather and shopping.
What was your paper on?
It was on measuring the racial differences in US home values.
