ritual brunch

Christian had not been sick... he had an eye infection when he was born and he had baby reflux a few weeks after but he'd never been sick nor caught a cold... but today, he has the sniffles. So you could see, he wasn't quite in the mood to play with Nadine and despite being less than an arm's length away from each other, he was trying to scoot over to his left which was where I was sitting. Nadine, on the other hand, is growing so fast - she's such a little lady (she's getting feisty too - a little firecracker!)

our little sanity getaway is to have brunch with Meraj, Marnie and Nadine : we'll bitch about our spouses, the weather, sometimes the government and whatever's happening in our lives. it's a ritual. and every single time after we see the Hudas, we feel rejuvenated! not to mention the fact that they seem to live the life of a circus - every other week/month, they are travelling somewhere to see the world (yes, I sound a little envious, even jealous).

we went to the Riders Cafe today, too bad the weather was muggy and horrid nonetheless we had fun. our smiles say it all. with the Hudas, who wouldn't?
