furry canvas

i had to post this series of pictures because the actions were laugh-out-loud hilarious.

my mom decided to take a vacation and wanted a long weekend off, so on friday i took leave to watch christian. i decided to try out the art class at gymboree since the first class we went to seemed to help christian overcome some of his shyness. the little imp enjoyed his class tremendously (for some reason, the class was full of girls and christian was the only boy artist). the theme of the day was "circle", the kids did everything to do with circles including making a circle collage. back at home, i thought he had wanted to show his daddy his artwork, but no, he grabbed his finished masterpiece, tore off each little sequin and circle he had previously pasted and repeated to himself "circle", "circle" as he tore them apart one by one.

then the funny thing happened. he placed the circles on the dog. cinnamon, being the good-natured canine, allowed herself to be a furry canvas for christian to exercise his full creativity.

In the second video, he walked to a spot and said 烧烧哦 (shao shao o) which means "it's hot here". there's a hotspot in the living room, possibly from the ceiling lamp of the neighbor's downstairs.
