cinnamon had a minor surgery last evening. she was hospitalized and i couldn't sleep last night. compound that with alex's hacking cough and bad sleep, i was kind of happy to be sipping my coffee this morning. the vet called this morning and reported that cinnamon was okay and is eating well today.
cinnamon has to stay for 2 more days since her kidneys are in a pretty bad shape and she has to be on a drip.
vacation plans are shelved because cinnamon will need lots of TLC for the coming days - she will have a drain in her for a few weeks up to a couple of months.
eric and i make our best effort to ignore the impending medical bills.
