the past one year has been the most humbling in many aspects. for one, i have taken good health for granted for most of my life and this year, one of our major expenses was medical bills...it's actually still going. the kids have been sick on an on and off basis, the dog has been sick in no small way. 2012 was a year about growing up, growing stronger, and thinking about how to deal with the outside world in a way that won't compromise who you are inside. it's been an exhausting year and i have definitely grown/aged.
